- Industrial Engineer (University of Buenos Aires). Graduate studies at Cornell University Business School (USA). Professional courses at Stanford University and the M.I.T.
- In 1990, he founded STRAT Consulting and has been since then the firm’s president
- President of Cimientos Foundation, dedicated to ending the cycle of poverty in Argentina through access to qualify education
- 1993 – 1995: Chairman of the Board of Aguas Argentinas - In that period, the take-over phase was successfully completed and the company was fully reorganized
- 1987: Member of the Board of State-Owned companies, where he led a team in charge of the design of the Operative Diagnosis and the Strategic Alternatives of the National Post Office
- 1980 – 1990: Executive Vice-President of the Industrial Division of Techint, where he managed seven subsidiaries with diverse activities ranging from steel production and processing to oil exploration and production
- He has been President of the Christian Businessmen Association (ACDE) and of the Argentine Institute for Entrepreneurial Development (IDEA). He has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Latin American Steel Association (ILAFA), the Argentine Manufacturers Association (UIA) and of the Latin America Businessmen Council (CEAL) In two occasions he has been granted the ¨Executive of the year award¨ and has been included amongst the most successful businessman according to a Gallup survey. In 1994, he received an award as the businessman of the year in the Private Sector. In 1996 he received the prize to the execellents of the decade in Latin-America franted by the ¨América Economía¨ magazine. Gerardo Lassalle award in 2004 (Engineering national academy)
